Introduction
When choosing LED lights, most buyers only focus on brightness (Lumen) and color temperature (CCT). However, there is one key parameter that directly determines lighting quality, color authenticity, and space grade — that is CRI (Color Rendering Index).
Two LED lights with the same wattage and same 4000K white color can look completely different: one makes colors dull and faded, while the other makes skin tone, food, clothing and decoration colors vivid and natural. The core reason is the difference in CRI value.
What is CRI (Color Rendering Index)?
CRI stands for Color Rendering Index. It is an international standard parameter that measures how accurately a light source restores the real color of objects, compared with natural sunlight.
The CRI value ranges from 0 to 100.
The higher the CRI value, the more real and natural the color performance. CRI 100 = exactly the same color rendering as pure natural sunlight.

Standard CRI Grade Classification (Industry Official Standard)
We divide LED CRI into 3 common grades for commercial and residential selection:
1. CRI < 80 (Basic Grade / Economy)
Color rendering is general, colors are slightly distorted and grayed. Suitable for low-budget public areas where color accuracy is not required.
Application: Warehouse, corridor, parking lot, public street light, simple factory lighting
2. CRI 80 – 89 (Standard Grade / Popular Grade)
